RandTools does not require an account. Tool computations happen in your browser, while website delivery, analytics and messages you choose to send use the network.

Generated results and your inputs

The generators do not upload your generated numbers, names, profiles or other results to a processing server. Inputs and results are held in the page while you use it. Downloading a file or copying a result saves it to a location you control. Sharing that output with another service is a separate action.

Local drafts and saved materials

The People, Addresses and Companies tools store their recent drafts and the materials you explicitly save in this browser’s local storage. This lets you return to a selected result and reuse it in another profile. This library does not sync to an account or another device. You can remove saved items in Saved and download or restore a RandTools backup. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes local drafts, saved items and pending material transfers.

Material-use events distinguish generation, copying, editing, saving, reopening and reuse. Their labels describe the tool, material type or action; they do not include the generated or edited field values. A page URL may include an opaque local material or transfer identifier, which cannot retrieve the material from our servers.

Hosting and fonts

Cloudflare hosts the website and processes normal connection information such as IP addresses, request paths and browser headers for delivery and security. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate page and performance measurements without analytics cookies.

Some fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives normal connection information when the browser makes those requests. Read the Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy for details.

Google Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits and tool use. Events identify the tool and action, such as Generate or Copy; they do not include the generated result. Google may receive page addresses, referrers, device and browser information, approximate location and cookie identifiers.

The current site loads Analytics and may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* without showing a prior cookie-consent dialog. These identifiers distinguish browsers across visits; the data should not be described as entirely anonymous.

You can use browser privacy controls or Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Deleting cookies alone does not stop them being set on another visit. See how Google uses information from partner sites.

Umami analytics

We also measure visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool that runs on our own server (analytics.plugxai.com). Umami sets no cookies and keeps no IP addresses in its database. It records the page address and title, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and an approximate location (country, region and city) looked up from the IP address. It also receives the same tool events described above, such as Generate or Copy; they never include the generated result. Like most web servers, the analytics server keeps access logs that include IP addresses.

Display advertising

Display advertising is not currently enabled. Before enabling it, we will update this policy to identify the advertising services used and provide applicable consent choices.

Third-party advertising vendors, including Google AdSense, may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure advertisements based on visits to this and other websites. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to personalize ads. You can manage Google's personalized advertising in My Ad Center; participating vendors provide choices through YourAdChoices. Advertising choices are separate from Analytics opt-out controls.

Messages and privacy questions

If you email the maintainer, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to handle your request. No automatic deletion schedule for email correspondence is promised. To ask about, correct or delete information you sent, contact hi@randtools.com with the approximate date and relevant context.

We do not sell personal information. Avoid sending passwords or private test data in a report. Material changes to data handling will be reflected on this page with an updated date. See also About and the site terms.
